Dear OLMC Family,

This one’s personal.

Almost two years ago I received a phone call from my daughter telling me that she was on her way to the emergency room at Beth Israel in New York City.  She was losing vision in her one eye because of a swollen optic nerve.  Her neurologist also informed her that she had MS.  Stopping Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in its tracks is personal for me. My daughter, and fellow OLMC alum Veronica was diagnosed with the chronic disease of the nervous system.

Ending multiple sclerosis for good will take all of us. It’s why Walk MS matters so much. And it’s why I’ve registered for the Walk MS/Seaside Park on April 16, 2016.  The Paone crew intends to burn up the boardwalk once again. Flat Stanley, from the Kindergarten class is looking forward to it this year, and is perched outside Kindergarten in his team gear! I hope you will support our fundraising efforts with a tax-deductible donation.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to creating a world free of MS, but they can’t do it without our help. It’s faster and easier than ever to support this cause. Simply click the link below to visit my page and make a donation. Your donation will drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most. Together, we’ll help ensure no one ever has to be diagnosed again. Please support us by making a donation today. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted about our progress.

Thanks for encouraging our efforts.

With humble gratitude,

Mary Paone
