Well it’s official in twelve years of theater at OLMC and in our seventh season with our Odyssey Theatre, our upcoming winter comedy boasts our largest cast and crew EVER! 70 students (that’s more than half the Middle School) will participate on and offstage! We’re gonna need all the help we can get as this epic production takes shape! The Winter Comedy, Life Afterlife, written and directed by Elliot Guerra is the sequel to the 2017 production of Afterlife, though don’t worry, there’s no need to have seen the previous installment to enjoy this play! The journey to heaven is on a bumpy road in Life Afterlife, which tells the hilarious and visually stunning story of Jimmy and his gang of saints and sinners traveling throughout time and space to stop the world’s biggest threat yet! When no one gets out of life alive, you learn life’s greatest lesson, in death! This production is a personal one for Mr. Guerra who wrote and directed the first production of Afterlife in 1997, he was the same age of many of the actors appearing in the sequel over twenty years later!
