A big thank you to everyone who participated in the walk-a-thon! It was a huge success! There were so many great moments from pastor, Fr. Richard blessing our therapy dog Liberty– it was so touching, to seeing so many involved despite the bad weather. All of this was especially poignant on the on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. The generosity of our community is amazing! We raised over $4,300 and donations are still coming in! That amount is paying for 1/5 of training for our adapted dog, Maui. The Student Council is so grateful to all who contributed. The prizes for the student snd class with the most pledges will be announced soon. Check out the pics below.
