I would like to thank each of you for making OLMC the great place that it is!

Thank you Father Dan- for not only having great faith in me each day, but for supporting the mission of Catholic Education daily by word and deed.  We are so very blessed to have you as a friend, as a mentor, and most importantly as our spiritual guide on this journey of life.

Next, to our amazing faculty and staff…  Thank you for your dedication, your hard work, and your inspiration and for the constant love you give to our Warrior children.  The not only learn from you, but look up to you and live their lives modeling the example you set for them.

Thank you, parents, for allowing us to nurture your sons and daughters each day at OLMC spiritually, academically, and socially.  We are blessed that you and your children have chosen to partner with OLMC during these crucial years.

We have gathered this evening to reflect on the “happenings” at OLMC since I became a member of the Warrior family in July, 2016.  In some ways it seems like just yesterday and in other ways, it has been good to look back and reflect on all that has transpired during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 Academic Years.

Each point I reflect upon tonight can be likened to casting a stone across the waters of OLMC to create many ripples which influence the various aspects of the lives of our students. The single most important stone is the spiritual foundation upon which all else depends.

Building upon the spiritual foundation of Baptism and our communal celebrations of Eucharist is the imparting of the knowledge of our Catholic faith and how it empowers us to recognize our gifts and talents and how we can best use these gifts and talents to serve God, our  neighbor, and ourselves! Each academic ripple at OLMC is designed to enrich the minds and hearts beginning with our youngest warriors moving through the grades to our graduate warriors.  Our hopes are to begin the journey that your children will follow for the rest of their lives.
