Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome back!

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful season with your families and friends. Personally, I want to thank you for the generous gifts that I received from so many of you. I am truly thankful and appreciative, but I have previously received the greatest gift. This gift is in the form of supportive families that we are blessed to have at OLMC.

Interim Principal, Ms. Barbara Verdonck

Returning to school in January is always filled with renewed energy and a resolve to make a positive difference in the lives of all the members of our school community. This month we have so much to look forward to. One of the highlights of this month is Catholic Schools Week, which begins on Sunday, January 26th. Look for details and a schedule of events in the next few weeks. We will also have the revealing of our new Reading Resource Room. I can’t wait for the students to experience the joys of reading within this new and exciting atmosphere. The winter MapGrowth sessions will begin the week of January 20th – details to follow. Re-registration and new registrations will begin shortly. At this time, if you are interested or know anyone interested in any of our programs, please let us know as soon as possible and have them make an appointment for Touring Tuesday. You can contact Mrs. Knowles at 201-567-6491 or lknowles@nullacademyolmc.org.

So as we begin the New Year let’s take time to focus once again on our personal goals and to adjust and fine tune the steps we must take to achieve them. I encourage parents to sit down with their child(ren) and discuss their performance, celebrate the successes and develop goals and next steps.

Finally, I wish everyone a very Happy New Year and I look forward to witnessing the many successes and achievements of our students as the year unfolds.

Sincerely,

Ms.Verdonck
