The OLMC community celebrated William Shakespeare’s Belated Birthday Bash on Monday, April 26th! The day was marked with viewing filmed stage performances from our friends at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, Shakespeare lessons (even in Spanish!) and of course a live-streamed celebration in our theater! After over a year being closed, our Odyssey Theatre was open (with a small, socially distanced and limited number of students) to help lead the Academy in a rendition of “Happy Birthday Shakespeare” and play some wild Shakespeare-themed theater games! What party isn’t complete without birthday cake? A special thanks to our Parents’ Guild for providing every in-person student with a slice of cake and the staff that meticulously and safely delivered the slices! Good ol’ Bill looks good for 454!
