On Tuesday, May 19, 202 the Academy will be celebrating Red Nose Day Joke-Ha-Thon! We all know that you might not have an original, store purchased red-nose to wear; therefore, we ask that you be creative and make your red-nose. Some examples could be paper, washable paint, or even lipstick (make sure you can wash it off and asked mom for permission!)
The Red Nose Day Joke-Ha-Thon inspires students and their families to raise money to support children living in poverty, who are especially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, by writing jokes and sharing them virtually. Hasbro will match funds up to $50,000.! We ask you to join in on the fun because we all could use a little laughter in our lives right now and we are also looking for ways to support those who are impacted by COVID-19 – especially children living in poverty. Donating is not mandatory, hey, we may be apart but we can still help children in need.
Write a joke or learn a joke. Post a video of your child telling their joke (or photo of the written joke). We will share them on our website!
