In the spring of 2020, OLMC science teacher Ms. Edelmann challenged her 6th graders to create a coin and enter it into the American Museum of Natural History’s Ology Challenge. We were all learning virtually during this time, and she thought it would be a fun, creative experience for them. Almost a year later, she was thrilled to discover that three of our students’ coins are still on display in the “Hall of Fame” on the American Museum of Natural History website!
