The Student Council presented the Academy with a special presentation from our friends at Mickey’s Kids Charitable Foundation. An organization that raises money to provide service and therapy dogs for children and adults that need help with their daily lives.
We especially would like to thank Mrs. Michelle Meli for bringing her husband along and Sarah and her mom for coming to our school too! They brought Liberty, Axil, and Breezy, three wonderful service and therapy dogs to visit our students. The children were overwhelmed by the presentation! Thanks to all the Academy community who showed support for the Foundation by wearing GREEN for Working Dogs and by their generous support of the Mickey’s Kids Charitable Foundation.
Mickey’s Kids Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps raise funds to sponsor service, therapy or hospital facilities dogs for both children and adult in the New York Metro area. Check out the visit from one of our furry friends!
