Pi Day, named for the mathematical constant Pi, (or 3.14) was recently celebrated in the new resource room by learning about pi and measuring the circumference and diameters of various circular items. Students were eager to measure accurately so their results were as close to 3.14 as possible. The students were treated to pie for their great work and enthusiasm!
