Tuesday, October 31st, the Academy loves to celebrate spooky season and we’ll make sure to have fun but we need to make sure we are still carrying ourselves like the OLMC Warriors we are! Students (and staff) are encouraged to wear costumes, though are not required to, in the building.
We do ask students and parents to follow these simple guidelines for a fun and safe haunted happening time!
Costumes Should:
- Be child-friendly
Costumes Should NOT:
- Be obstructive, offensive, inappropriate for a Catholic school (no mid-riffs, shorts or revealing outfits,) gory, or violent.
- Drag on the ground or impede walking, especially on stairs.
- Contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another person.
- Contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Masks
- Masks can be worn, but they must not obstruct vision, eyes should be visible at all times.
