October 24, 2018
Dear OLMC Families,
I wanted to update the OLMC community about the recent changes in staffing.

I’m excited to announce that we have offered the position of Spanish teacher and it was accepted this morning! We thank Ms. Charlotte Colon Alvarez for her service and welcome Ms. Veronica Mezieres as our new full-time Spanish teacher beginning on November 7, 2018. Ms. Mezieres, a veteran educator, comes with years of world language and cultural experience and we look forward to reading about her in this Sunday’s upcoming Warrior Weekly and meeting her when she arrives in two weeks.

As for the science position, we said good-bye yesterday and are grateful to Ms. Jacquline Edelmann who has served OLMC generously. I have currently contacted educational directors at several University programs, conducted seven interviews, two of which have conducted demo lessons for her replacement. While it is my intention to fill the position as quickly as possible, we continue to seek the best candidate.

Miss Koval, OLMC Principal

In the meantime, Mrs. Jill Pro, a seasoned OLMC substitute, experienced in teaching Science, will be filling in for Science Classes, grades PreK3-Grade 8, and is well prepared on the lessons that Ms. Edelmann left for the remainder of the month.
I will be continually updating you as information develops.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at anytime.  I thank you for your patience during this transitional period.
God Bless,

Miss Kelly Koval
