Shadow has arrived at the Academy. Shadow is a bat that lives in the 4th grade classroom. He helps the 4th grade learn many language arts concepts as editing and writing letters. He is also teaching the 4th grade empathy. Shadow is nocturnal, therefore, Shadow is asking the class to be quiet in order that he can sleep during the day. He flies around at night and then finds a hiding place in the classroom. Every morning the students try to find Shadow and then read his letter. Sometimes, the class is too noisy and Shadow cannot sleep. One time he even said the teacher was too loud. Shadow will be here for the whole month of October.
