The Academy’s annual celebration of Black History Month is off and running! We’re adding to our diverse curriculum by showcasing the best in Black History! When visiting the Academy make sure to take a look at our Black History slideshow covering famous black scientists, entrepreneurs, artists, patriots and athletes and the entire school participated in a Black History project entitled “Opening the Door to Black History” where classes decorated doors showcasing Black History Month. Whether its celebrating Dr. King or the 50th birthday of Hip Hop these doors are pretty great if we do say so ourselves. Check it out below!
