Action Alert #1 Compensatory Education/Chapter 192 (Extra Help for Struggling Students) –
Use the NJ Catholic Conference Voter Voice System to contact the Office of Governor Phil Murphy and indicate that the funding for nonpublic school Chapter 192 programs is inadequate to provide the services needed. The amount listed in the Budget language should be at least $1,300.00 PER SERVICE and increased funding should be included in the Budget by the Governor in order to provide additional time for the teaching of these subject areas.

Action Alert #1A Nonpublic School Transportation –
Use the NJ Catholic Conference Voter Voice System to contact the Office of Governor Phil Murphy and ask for an increase in nonpublic school transportation to at least $1,300 per pupil in order to have transportation routes run for our students. The ceiling for the 2022-2023 school year was increased by a mere $22.00 per pupil, but hardly enough to cover the bids on the routes by private companies.
