If you are interested in plants and gardening please sign up for the first ever OLMC garden club with Ms. Cornetta! This club is open to students in grades 2nd to 4th. We are limited to 20 students. The first 20 students to register will be able to join the club. Join Ms. Cornetta each Monday starting Monday May 9th to June 6th in her classroom and in our outdoor garden. 3:00 pm – 4:00pm
FEE $20 Forms are due by Thursday May 5th Check your child’s backpack or reach out to the Main Office with the information below!
Things we will be doing
- Planting seeds inside and outside in the OLMC garden
- Painting our own clay pot to plant in and take home for the summer
- Recording our plant observations in a notebook that is provided
- Draw pictures of our plants and gardens and label them in our notebook
- Help to take care of the plants and the outside garden
- Pick fruits and vegetables from the garden to taste
- Have discussions about our planet and how we can help it
