April is Awareness Against Child Abuse Month. Did you know that Blue Pinwheels are the universal sign of innocence, and therefore child abuse prevention? It represents the innocence, joy and fun which should be the experience of all children. Planting pinwheels on the grounds of schools and churches leaves behind a dramatic, visual, public display of support for protecting all of God’s children from any kind of harm.

Lead by Ms. Essman, the religion classes banded together to creatively show their support of children all around the world by creating their own pinwheel displays. A great big thank you to all the Religion teachers and Ms Verdonck for completing the “Pass the Pinwheel Project” and making our students aware of this important topic on social justice and morality.
