"I haven't been in OLMC for too long, but I remember the first time I visited this school. There was just something about this school that stood out to me. Now that I attend this school, I can see why I had such an amazing feeling about this school.
My classmates and I had transferred from our previous school to OLMC. OLMC invited my classmates and I with such open arms. On the first day of school, the teachers and staff made sure all of us were comfortable. They checked on us almost everyday to make sure we were adjusting well. If there was ever a problem with anything, they helped us to fix it right away.
This school also has such a positive attitude. The students are greeted every morning with delightful staff at the front desk. When you go to all your classes, the teachers come in very bright and with a passion to teach. With all this madness going on right now, OLMC is trying its best to make our school year as special as possible, while keeping us safe. I know this school will never lose its vibrant attitude.
My favorite thing going to school at OLMC is the people I've met here. Going to a new school, especially my 8th grade year, was really scary. But all these nerves went away once I met the students and teachers here. Every student I've met has been nice, welcoming, and very friendly. The students here didn't act like we were the new kids. They treated us like we've gone to this school as long as they have.
The teachers here are so welcoming and kind. They were so open-minded about making sure we were comfortable and happy. They helped my classmates and I adjust to a new school by making sure we were at the right academic level. Since every school goes at its own pace, the teachers here made sure that we weren't just reviewing things. They really push us to be the best student we can be. It feels nice to know that I'm going to be pushed to the best of my abilities by some of the most helpful and greatest teachers I've ever known. "
